Unemployment Disappointing for Beaver County
April’s unemployment numbers aren’t encouraging for Beaver County residents looking for a job. The County’s unemployment rate was 6.8%. That number was higher than the prior month and the same month last year. If you’re one of the approximately 6,000 Beaver County residents that are without work, now is the time to take a serious look at your finances.

New year means new woes for unemployed
The New Year is a time filled with hope and resolutions to make the upcoming year better than the last. Unfortunately, for about 86,900 Pennsylvania residents, the New Year started with a loss of unemployment benefits.
